Dr. Loren Borud and the Power of Giving

People like Dr. Loren Borud have chosen a profession that promotes other people’s well-being. It is only natural for patients to express their gratitude to the surgeon who has helped them, especially after a successful operation. In fact, one thankful patient even gave a five-foot-tall painted giraffe to the good doctor as a gift.

Patients aren’t the only people who are expressing their heartfelt thanks, however. The renowned plastic surgery expert has done this, and is continuing to do so. One excellent example of this was his time spent mentoring aspiring surgeons at Harvard Medical School. It was his way of giving back to the community that helped make him what he is today.

Dr. Loren Borud does not restrict his mentoring to medical students alone. He also acts as a consultant for various clients. He has truly understood the power of giving, and continues to exercise it to this day.
