Born and raised in Minot, North Dakota, Dr. Loren Borud has over 20 years of experience in the medical industry, and is currently one of the most sought after plastic surgeons and consultants in the field. Focusing on plastic surgery, he has gained a reputation in the United States for his achievements in the medical world.
Among these achievements is being a pioneer in the medical development and research of lymphedema, otherwise known as Elephantiasis, and its treatment in cosmetic surgery. Dr. Borud co-founded the Harvard Lymphedema Clinic in 2004, where he trained under Dr. HÃ¥kan Brorson from Sweden, and studied the disease closely by conducting patient case studies.
